The team, which has been endorsed by the British Virgin Islands (BVI) Basketball Federation and is the official BVI team, will be competing under the name BVI Bayside Blazers and departs the Territory on Saturday July 14, 2018, via VI Air Link.

The highly competitive league has eight Caribbean countries participating, including a team from the United States of America.

There are other personnel who will make up the delegation to the '2018 Dreams to Reality Foundation Basketball competition.'

Veteran player Kennedy Bass (196-F-81, college: Anderson, SC), will be a special advisor to the Team and will fit in as an alternative, if any player is injured.

Mr Willock said, '...fans who can make it down to St. Maarten are welcome to come to cheer for the home town team and wave the BVI flag.'
