Union Poitiers Basket 86 (ProB) added to their roster 25-year old British V.Islands ex-international forward Norville Carey (201-103kg-93, college: Rider). He played last season at New Heroes Basketball Den Bosch in Dutch Eredivisie. In 31 games he recorded 12.0ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.6spg. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week and League Player of the Week (3 times).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Carey's team made it to the C-USA Tournament Semifinals in 2014. He was also voted HS All-State Honorable Mention by the Delaware Sportswriters back in 2012 at his college time.
Carey was also a member of British V.Islands international program for some years. He played for British V.Islands Senior National Team between 2011 and 2015 and previously for U16 National Team in 2008.
Carey also represented British Virgin Islands at the CBC Championships in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) three years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: 8.4ppg, 7.4rpg, 1.0apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 33.3%, FT: 53.8%.
Carey graduated from Rider University in 2017 and it will be his second season as a professional player.

LESTER PROSPER Columbian Dyip (PBA) agreed terms with 30-year old British V.Islands center Lester Prosper (210-106kg-88, college: Old Westbury, agency: Interperformances). He played last season at Worcester Wolves in British BBL league. In 21 games he had 13.7ppg and 9.1rpg. In 2013 (two years after he left the college) Prosper was drafted by Maine Red Claws (D-League) in sixth round (95th overall).
