Union Poitiers Basket 86 (ProB) added to their roster 25-year old British V.Islands ex-international forward Norville Carey (201-103kg-93, college: Rider). He played last season at New Heroes Basketball Den Bosch in Dutch Eredivisie. In 31 games he recorded 12.0ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.6spg. Carey was also a member of British V.Islands international program for some years. He played for British V.Islands Senior National Team between 2011 and 2015 and previously for U16 National Team in 2008.
Carey also represented British Virgin Islands at the CBC Championships in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) three years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: 8.4ppg, 7.4rpg, 1.0apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 33.3%, FT: 53.8%.
Carey graduated from Rider University in 2017 and it will be his second season as a professional player.
