DUFF'S BOTTON, Tortola, VI - The curtains came down on the Regular Season for the continuation of the Honourable Julian Fraser's Save the Seed National Basketball League 2017/2018 games, played at the Save the Seed Energy Centre, on Tortola.
The final game was to a packed to capacity house on Sunday September 23, 2018, between two of the biggest and strongest teams in the League 'Pure Playaz' and the 'Bayside Blazers.'

It was one the most anticipated games for the regular season, as fans, sports commentators and some teams, claimed, it could have been a preview for the Championship show down, but it is too early to tell who will come out from either the Western or Eastern divisions.

However, in the game of Sunday Bayside Blazers prevailed beating out the previously undefeated in regular season Pure Playaz.

The final score was 91-78.

Bayside Blazers did it!

In that game Bayside Blazers' Kimani T. Stevens netted 20 points, 10 rebounds and 2 steals with teammate Stephon S. Caul with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assist. Anthony J. Keane had 16 points and Mikey S. Joseph had 12 points.

For the defeated Pure Playaz top score went to Ray D. Victor with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 6 steals, while his teammate Ramain Minott netted 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assist. Garvin Frett walked away with 10 points and 6 rebounds.

While Bayside Blazers struggled to make a shot in the first 7 mins of the first quarter with at one point the score being 11 to 0 in favour of Pure Playaz, Team Bayside Blazers put on their game face in the second quarter and came back and ended up winning by some 13 points.
