CIBA League regular season is concluded

CIBA League exciting regular season came to end just days ago. Four top teams are scheduled to continue their quest for the title in the Final Four format. The Final game will be held on March 1. The Storm Quik Cash was seeded top after they completed the regular season undefeated at 8-0 record. The Quik Cash overcame the Wellys Cool Spot 51:48 in the final round of the championship. The Quik Cash had to overcome a 5-point halftime deficit to secure a tough win at the end. Lavern Ebanks came up with 22 points for the winners. Bobeth O'Garro added 12 points and 8 rebounds for the Storm. Letanya Thompson produced 20 points for the Wellys Cool Spot as they registered a 2-6 record. The teams will now meet again in the semifinal clash on February 24.
The CIBA reigning champions Dominos Lady Heels earned the second position in the final ladder as they won 5 games. They defeated the Silver Bullets 67:44 in the final round of action. Dionne Anglin stepped up with 26 points and 17 boards for the winning side. Sarrah Kidd delivered 18 points for the Lady Heels. Tishelle Logan chipped in 14 points for the Silver Bullets as they slipped at 1-7 record. The Dominos Lady Heels will face the Esso Blazettes in the semifinal battle.
