Lady Warriors Win 2nd Straight Championship

Hannah Parchment scored a game-high 14 points and Courtisha Ebanks added 12 more as the Lady Warriors beat the Home Gas DREAM Sunday (5 June) 62-38 to clinch their fifth Cayman Islands Basketball Association Women's League title in eight seasons. Theresa Hamil recorded a double-double in the losing effort. The DREAM actually led 15-12 early in the second quarter but the Lady Warriors' full court press helped them go on an 18-3 run to pull away before the half and never looked back.
