Cayman Islands National League round 10 best performance: Jerome Narcisse (by Hoops Agents)- July 14, 2022
The 35-year old player was the main contributor (20 points, seven rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out IRG Astros (#3, 7-3) 82-80. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Warriors to consolidate first place in the Cayman Islands National League. Warriors have a solid 8-1 record. Narcisse has many years of experience at Warriors, through which he has constantly improved. Former Southwestern Oklahoma State University star has very solid stats this year. Narcisse is in league's top in points (2nd best: 27.7ppg), rebounds (4th best: 10.5rpg), assists (3rd best: 4.2apg) and averages impressive 1.5bpg and 68.2% FGP. The second best player in last round's games was international shooting guard Davion Cotterell (SG) of IRG Astros. Cotterell had a very good evening with 31 points and 9 rebounds. Bad luck as IRG Astros was edged by slightly higher-ranked Warriors (#1, 8-1) 82-80. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. IRG Astros still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 7-3 record is not bad at all. Cotterell is one of the most experienced players at IRG Astros and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.9ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 5.9rpg and 3.2apg. Third on the list of top players last round was Jahron Barnes of Sol Blazers (#6). Barnes scored 26 points. Despite Barnes' great performance Sol Blazers lost 58-76 to the higher-ranked MPS Tronix (#2, 7-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Sol Blazers can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-8 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Barnes has individually a great season in Cayman Islands. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.0ppg (6th best). We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
