Canadian Nick Berardi (F) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Cayman FH and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The forward had the game-high 34 points adding four rebounds and two assists for Cayman FH in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Silver Bullets 2 (#10, 0-6) with 27-point margin 85-58. It allowed Cayman FH to jump to the first place in the Cayman Islands National League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Cayman FH already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Berardi had a remarkable 68.8% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Cayman FH, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Berardi has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 28.7ppg) and averages solid 62.9% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was guard Joanki Montero-Espinal (G) of Creole Team. Montero-Espinal impressed basketball fans with 40 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Creole Team to another comfortable win outscoring Silver Bullets 2 (#10, 0-6) 98-49. This victory allowed Creole Team to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Montero-Espinal is one of the most experienced players at Creole Team and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
The third best performed player last round was international forward Jerome Narcisse (193-F-1987) of second-ranked Warriors. Narcisse showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Warriors, leading his team to a 92-65 easy win against the lower-ranked MPS Tronix (#7, 2-3). Warriors started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Narcisse turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Narcisse has a great season in Cayman Islands. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.7ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 10.0rpg (5th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
