Sixth ranked Shockwaves (2-4) saved a 2-point victory at home edging their close opponent MPS Tronix (2-4) 87-85 in the fight for the seventh place. Shockwaves forced 34 MPS Tronix turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was a great evening for guard Noel Squire who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 9 rebounds. Center Jordan Bodden helped adding 8 points, 20 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. At the losing side forward Daniel Mowatt responded with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and center Davion Foster produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. Cayman FH looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Shockwaves' players. It was a quality performance for Curtis Wilson who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 19 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sol Blazers made 10 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for Canadian forward Justin Golob (190) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 7 assists.
