Golob's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Forward Justin Golob (190-F) put on an amazing game in the last round for Sol Blazers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had a double-double of 35 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Plantito (#9, 1-5) 85-73. Sol Blazers is placed at 3rd position in Cayman Islands league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Sol Blazers will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. In the team's last game Golob had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Sol Blazers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Golob has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 23.6ppg), rebounds (6th best: 9.6rpg) and averages solid 56.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Curtis Wilson (PF) of top-ranked Cayman FH. He is a forward in his first season at Cayman FH. In the last game Wilson recorded impressive double-double of 27 points and 24 rebounds. It was enough for Cayman FH to edge the lower-ranked Plantito (#9, 1-5) by 3 points 78-75. Of course Cayman FH still keep the league's top spot. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 6 games without any defeat. Wilson is one of the most experienced players at Cayman FH and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Sol Blazers' star - guard Samuel O'Garro (195-G-1988). O'Garro scored 27 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Sol Blazers, helping his team with a 85-73 win against the lower-ranked Plantito (#9, 1-5). Sol Blazers needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. O'Garro has a great season in Cayman Islands. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 31.6ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 13.0rpg (3rd best) and assists with 4.8apg (3rd best). Samuel O'Garro has also Cayman Islands passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
