Cayman Islands National League round 8 best performance: Jerome Narcisse (by Hoops Agents)- April 15, 2023
The 35-year old player was the main contributor (31 points, eight rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Creole Team (#5, 3-4) with 23-point margin 88-65. It allowed Warriors to take over top position in the Cayman Islands National League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Warriors keeps a perfect 7-0 record. It's Narcisse's second year at Warriors and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Former Southwestern Oklahoma State University star has very solid stats this year. Narcisse is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 8.7rpg), assists (6th best: 4.0apg) and averages impressive 2.2spg and 66.7% FGP. The second best player in last round's games was another Warriors' star - David Taylor (G). Taylor had a very good evening with 36 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course together with Narcisse he helped Warriors with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Shockwaves (#7, 2-5) 99-31. This victory allowed Warriors to move up to 1st position in the standings. He plays for the best team in the league and Warriors managed to win all 7 games keeping a perfect record. Taylor is one of the most experienced players at Warriors and similarly like Jerome Narcisse has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Third on the list of top players last round was another Warriors' star - international forward Niiakwei General-Vanderpuije (F). General-Vanderpuije showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, sixteen rebounds (!!!) and nine assists in the last round. He was another key player of Warriors, helping his team with a 99-31 easy win against the lower-ranked Shockwaves (#7, 2-5). Warriors have amazing season winning all 7 games without a single defeat. General-Vanderpuije turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title.
