U17 Mexico - U17 Dominican Republic 70-56
Mexico won the first place in Group A. They handed 70-56 loss to Dominican Republic ending the Preliminary Round in Gurabo with perfect 2-0. Mexico will meet Bahamas in the Semifinals. On the other side, Dominican Republic also advanced to Semis, but as No.2 of this pool (1-1 record). Their rival will be the host of U17 CentroBasket - Puerto Rico. Ana Karen Bernal Armendariz was the leading player in victory with double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds. Narda Valeria Salceda Jimenez had 14 pts, 5 rebounds and 9 assists, while Nohemi Lopez Arguello also helped Mexico with 14 points. In defeat, Cheisy Carolay Hernandez top-scored with 17 pts. Yamel Vanessa Abreu Alvarez had 14 points and 6 rebounds, and Frabel Feliz Rodriguez added 13 points, plus 11 boards. Quarters: 24-11, 12-9, 17-13, 17-23.

U17 Puerto Rico - U17 US Virgin Islands 96-40
Puerto Rico won the first place in Preliminary Group B in Gurabo. The host of U17 CentroBasket ended this phase with perfect 3-0 record. Of course, Puerto Rico advanced to Semifinals and they will meet Dominican Republic. On the other side, US Virgin Islands dropped to 1-2 and finished as the last ranked of this group. They failed to reach the next stage and will be transferred to Classification Games from 5th to 7th place. Diamalises Rivera Barcelo shined for the winners with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Aleana Lyd Leon Garcia scored 13 points and Claudia Alejandra Ortiz Ledesma added one less than her. In US Virgin Islands, Edidiong Beulah Utibe collected 16 points and 16 boards. Their second scorer was Shaquana Quanae Iona Foy with just 8 pts. Quarters: 25-10, 25-13, 18-8, 28-9.

U17 Guatemala - U17 Bahamas 39-48
First win for Bahamas at the U17 CentroBasket in Gurabo. They handed 48-39 loss to Guatemala and it was enough for the Semifinals. There is three-way-tie on the second place in Group B with Bahamas, Guatemala and US Virgin Islands all having 1-2 record. In that circle, Bahamas has the best score and they ended as No.2 in this pool. Guatemala is No.3, while US Virgin Islands ended as the last ranked team in this group. Bahamas will meet Mexico in the Semifinals. On the other side, Guatemala will be transferred to Classification Games from 5th to 7th place. Taneka Kristine Sandiford stepped up for Bahamas in this game with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Kaylicia Laing secured a great help adding 13 pts and 11 rebs. In the loosing squad, Emily Rosales Quan replied with 18 points and 7 boards, while Angelica Maria Jose Cardenas Lantan added 12 pts and 5 rebs. Quarters: 18-17, 10-20, 4-6, 7-5.
