Mexico reach the Final at the U17 Centrobasket. They overcame Dominican Republic 74:50 and remained undefeated at the tournament. Mexico was the favorite of the game and proved their ambitions from the beginning of the game. They posted 19-8 run in the first 10 minutes and led 10 points at the halftime. Moreover Mexico looked better in the second half and managed to win both quarters. They needed a 21-17 rally in the third period and then ended up with a 19-9 surge. Narda Lopez (96) erupted with 27 points and 12 rebounds for the winners, while Diaz Monica collected 18 points and 10 rebounds. Ortiz Nayeli followed them with 16 points in a win. Anyi Hodge (97) replied with16 points and 19 rebounds in a loss, while Rodriguez Lismier nailed 12. Nayely Morillo (99) delivered 10, whilst Mota Yadiri had 6.
Puerto Rico - El Salvador 67-70
El Salvador shock Puerto Rico and advanced to the Final of the U17 Centrobasket. The hosts of the tournament posted a 70:67 win for the Final appearance. El Salvador grabbed 20-18 lead at the end of the first period. The home side added 19-15 run in the second frame and led 6 points at the halftime. Puerto Rico managed to post two victories in the second half, but could not win the game. They won the third period 15-13 and finished the game with a narrow 19-18 rally. Hillary Martinez (172-SF-97) top-scored for the winners with 32 points and Iglesias Ana nailed 20. Liliana Alvarado (97) and Hernandez Claudia followed them with 6 points each. Leon Aleana replied with 31 points and 12 rebounds in defeat and Gerena Gladyshka scored 9. Crespo Paola collected 8 points and 19 rebounds, whilst Chelsea Robinson (96) and Nieves Patricia had 7 apiece.

Honduras tastes the initial win in San Salvador at the U17 Centrobasket. They edged Bahamas 63:47 at the Classification Round. Honduras managed to win the first period 10-9 and erupted with a 22-6 surge in the second frame. Moreover they won the third period 14-9 and increased three lead to 22 points at the end of the third quarter. Bahamas replied with a 23-17 rally in the last stanza to make the final result in the game. Nelly Rapalo (99) made a free throw for the final margin. Grenald Danna paced all the winners with 23 points and 15 rebounds, while Nelly Rapalo had 22. Abdalah Jinan poured in 9 and Vigil Laura notched 4. Valerie Nesbitt top-scored for Bahamas with 24 points and Neely Sha-Londa erupted with 13 points and 27 rebounds. Kyle Higgs notched 4, whilst Brown Serena added 3.
Costa Rica - U.S. Virgin Islands 74-68
Costa Rica U17 nip U.S. Virgin Islands at the Classification Round of the U17 Centrobasket. Costa Rica won 74:68 in the opener of the Saturday actions. U.S. Virgin Islands started the game with 18-16 lead and added massive 29-17 surge in the second frame. They led 16 points at the end of the second frame, but could not win the game. Costa Rica erupted with two victories in the second half to seal the total victory. Costa Rica won the third period 16-5 and finished the game with 25-16. Jennifer Sanchez (97) top-scored for the winners with 20 points and Solano Yamilah nailed 19. Mora Emily delivered 13, whilst Viviana Alfaro (165-SF-97) notched 8. Evans Ranai ended up with 17 points and Frettt Akia notched 13. Sherelle George (98) collected 11 points and 13 rebounds, whilst Corbett Jerusha added 10.
