Honduras - Puerto Rico 67-74 2OT
Puerto Ruco survived a double-overtime drama against Honduras and improved at 2-0 record in the standings. Veronica Cancio (160-PG-99) posted 20 points to lead the winners. Puerto Rico enjoyed a one-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. But Honduras fired 20 points in the next period and forced overtime. The teams did not decide on the winner in the first extra period. Puerto Rico sank 10 points in the second overtime and snatched the victory. Itamar Rosado (180-F-98) delivered 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Danna Grenald (183-PF-99) responded with 25 points and 22 rebounds for Honduras.

Guatemala - El Salvador 68-61
Guatemala overcame El Salvador for the first victory in Mexico City. Paulina Zuleta (157-PG-99) and Nathaly Pinelo (167-PG-00) finished with 14 points each to pace the winning team. Guatemala eked out a 35:34 halftime lead. El Salvador evened things up at 49 at the end of the third quarter. But Guatemala used a 19:12 rally in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Katherine Cubias (169-PG-98) responded with 26 points for El Salvador.
