British Virgin Islands - El Salvador 54-101 El Salvador outgunned British Virgin Islands at the start of championship. El Salvador recorded a 53:26 halftime lead. They used a 28:8 run in the fourth term to rally to the win. S Miranda notched 19 points and 14 rebounds in the victory. Angelee Rodriguez (182-C-02) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the win. Shauliqua Fahie (173-F-00) replied with 23 points and 14 rebounds for British Virgin Islands. Group BSurinam - Puerto Rico 34-103Puerto Rico outgunned Surinam in the opener. Wilneishka Rivera and Julianna Rosario (173-G-00) scored 14 points each for the hosts. Puerto Rico claimed a 53:17 halftime lead. The hosts unloaded 50 points in the second half and marched to the win. Nairimar Vargas (182-F-00) had 13 points for the winners. Mirelva Marica (02) notched 9 points for Surinam. Costa Rica - Bahamas 53-39 Costa Rica overcame Bahamas to gain the first win in B. Valeria Gonzalez (162-SG-02) tossed in 12 points in the victory. They recorded a 28:21 halftime lead. Costa Rica stretched the margin at 14-point mark at the final intermission and cruised to the win in the fourth frame.
