Mexico and Puerto Rico enter title game in Managua

Mexico - Panama 67-51
Mexico outgunned Panama to advance into the title game. Panama led by as many as 12 points after ten minutes. Bit Mexico went on a 28-4 run in the second frame to spur ahead. Mexico kept Panama at bay throughout the second half and raced to the win. Valeria Ojeda (2006) finished with 14 points, while Valeria Mora (187-C-2006) added 11 points for Mexico. Roselyn Sanchez (164-SG-2007) answered with 10 points for Panama.

Puerto Rico - Dominican Republic 58-53
Puerto Rico topped Dominican Republic to ensure the championship game berth. The teams went neck and neck throughout the first half. They were tied at 25 heading into the second half. Dominican Republic eked out a one-point lead at the final break. But Puerto Rico answered with a 19-13 rally in the fourth stanza to ice the victory. Camila De Pool (170-SF-2006) provided 17 points, while Desirek Nieves (170-SG-2007) had 13 points for Puerto Rico. Camila Ramirez (2006) and Pamela Perez (2006) replied with 11 points apiece for Dominican Republic.
