Concepcion made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Diego Silva (186-1993) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Marquez Letcher-Ellis (203-1997, college: Nevada) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Four Concepcion players scored in double figures. The former international forward Darrol Jones (193-1994) answered with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (made all of her nine free throws !!!) and international forward Ignacio Carrion (201-1993) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Los Leones.

American swingman Dennis McKinney (194-1998, college: Mt.Mercy) stepped up and scored 27 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and the former international power forward Juan Fontena (196-1987) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Ancud's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American center Arnold Louis (201-1990, college: SSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Gaspar Hernandez (-1999) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
