American forward Derrick Woods (203-1996, college: St.Peter's, agency: SLN) stepped up and scored 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Franco Morales (181-1992) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Ancud players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Jerry Evans (203-1990, college: Nevada) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import center Roquez Johnson (201-1992, college: MSU, agency: BIG) scored 8 points and 11 rebounds.

Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Stephen Maxwell (201-1993, college: CSUN) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. International point guard Diego Silva (186-1993) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Univ.Concepcion players scored in double figures. American-Puerto Rican forward Jonathan Ocasio (196-1992, college: New Haven) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Justin Strings (201-1996, college: Sacramento St.) added 14 points and 18 rebounds in the effort for Puente Alto. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
