Deportes Castro wins Liga Nacional title - Feb 27, 2012

Deportes Castro is the champion of Liga Nacional for season 2011/12. They grabbed crucial 92-97 OT win against Boston College last night. It means that Deportes Castro won the series with almost perfect 3-1. They celebrated in the first two games at home 104-80 and 71-66. Boston College was better in Game Three 101-73, but was not able to avoid defeat last night. Deportes Castro finished regular season as the second ranked team. They had 10-4 record. Later in the Semifinals, Deportes Castro had to work very hard to eliminate Osorno. They won the series 3-2. Finally, Deportes Castro outplayed Boston College 3-2 in the finals to win the title.
