Liga Femenina top team - Sportiva Ita. (5-0) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat fifth ranked Brisas (2-4) 81-71. Sportiva Ita. had a 37-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a good game for Narlyn Mosquera who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Javiera Morales (178-92) contributed with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. International forward Francisca Rojas (176-93, college: Boston Coll.) replied with 30 points and 7 rebounds for Brisas. Brisas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Undefeated Sportiva Ita. have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-0 record. Brisas lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with Sergio Ceppi. Sportiva Ita. are looking forward to face Boston College (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Brisas will play against Sergio Ceppi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Libertad SF is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to second ranked Univ.de Chile (5-1) 79-52. The former international guard Francisca Salvatierra (173-94) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Paula Moya chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Alexandra Puebla with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Libertad SF's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Univ.de Chile have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 5-1 record having just one point less than leader Sportiva Ita. Libertad SF at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Univ.de Chile will play against Univ.de Los Lagos (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Libertad SF will play against New Crusaders and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Loser Univ.de Los Lagos keep the seventh place with five games lost. New Crusaders will meet at home bottom-ranked Libertad SF (#8) in the next round. Univ.de Los Lagos will play against the league's second-placed Univ.de Chile and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 6 Sergio Ceppi was smashed by Boston College on the road 90-54.

Power forward Isabel Gonzalez (183-98) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and Cuba center Arlenys Gonzalez (185-87) supported her with 15 points and 9 rebounds.
