Jerome Hill
American Forward Jerome Hill (198-F-94) had an amazing evening in the last round for Puente Alto, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 26.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 28 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat AB Ancud (#2, 17-9) 86-77. Puente Alto is placed at 4th position in their group in Chilean Liga Nacional. Puente Alto is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 13-14 record. In the team's last game Hill had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Puente Alto's top player in his first season with the team. Former Gardner-Webb University star has very solid stats this year. Hill is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 10.7rpg) and averages impressive 57.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 38-year old American Terrence Shannon (203-F-79) of CDE Talca. Shannon had a very good evening with 37 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as CDE Talca lost that game 80-86 to slightly higher-ranked Osorno (#4, 9-16). CDE Talca managed to keep the same 5th spot in Conferencia Centro. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 12-14 record. Shannon is a newcomer at CDE Talca, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.1ppg (#4). He also registered 9.2 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Arnold Louis (201-F-90, agency: HMS) of league's top team Las Animas. Louis scored 23 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Las Animas, leading his team to a 95-70 easy win against the lower-ranked CDE Talca (#5, 12-14). Las Animas confirms their top position in Conferencia Centro. Louis has a very solid season. In 9 games in Chile he scored 22.6ppg. He also has 10.3rpg and 2.1spg.
