There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Liga Femenina. There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with loss of the undefeated team and favorites losing the games. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Lobas (1-1) on the court of Univ. Concepcion on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Univ. Concepcion 41-40. Univ. Concepcion is looking forward to face New Crusaders (#10) in Valpara�so in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lobas will play on the road against Brisas (#9) in Santiago and are hoping to win this game. Very significant was Gimnastico's (#7) 76-64 road victory against Brisas. Gimnastico will play against Boston College in Santiago in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Brisas will play against Lobas (#4) to get more than just one victory in their record. Very important is a road loss of Libertad SF (1-1) against Sergio Ceppi (1-1) on Sunday night. Visiting Libertad SF was defeated by Sergio Ceppi in Santiago 68-56. Sergio Ceppi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Santiago to the arena Univ.de Chile. The game between Top Four teams took place in Santiago. host Boston College (2-0) defeated Los Leones (1-1) 71-64. Boston College's next round opponent will be Gimnastico (#8) and are hoping to win another game. Los Leones will play against Libertad SF (#7) in San Fernando and hope to win that game. Gimnastico are the Liga champions. They topped Los Leones to finish the Final Four action at perfect 3-0 record. Gimnastico players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for the former international center Tatiana Gomez (192-81) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 7 assists (on 17-of-22 shooting from the field). Colombian power forward Narlyn Mosquera (197-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners.
