There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Liga Nacional. There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with derby games and games ending by tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

AB Ancud defeated Aleman at home 88-76. AB Ancud made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. American guard Jesse Hardin (188-93, college: Walsh) scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import center Gene Teague (206-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: DTMones) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) during the contest. Jamaican-Canadian forward Dwayne Smith (198-89, college: G.Washington, agency: Interperformances) responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Aleman's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
Puente Alto (2-1) recorded a loss on the court of Espanol de Talca. Visitors were defeated by Espanol de Talca 86-69. Americans were the main players on the court. Center Tyran Walker (213-89, college: Wake Forest) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks to lead the effort and Stanley Robinson supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Even 14 points and 5 rebounds by Rakim Brown (198-91, college: Humboldt St.) did not help to save the game for Puente Alto. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
A very close game took place in Concepcion between Universidad de Concepcion and Los Leones. Universidad de Concepcion (3-0) got a very close home victory over Los Leones (0-2). Universidad de Concepcion managed to escape with a 2-point win 65-63 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was Diego Silva who scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Manuel Guzman produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for the guests.
A very interesting game took place in Castro. It ended with only three-point home defeat of CD Castro (2-1) to AB Ancud (3-1) 77-74 on Saturday evening. Gene Teague orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds.
Important game to mention about took place in Valdivia. Deportivo Valdivia (2-1) saved a 1-point victory at home edging Las Animas (1-3) 76-75 in the game for the fourth place. Khapri Alston had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 22 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. Deportivo Valdivia's coach Juan Manuel Cordoba used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 2:
In Nacional winless CDU Catolica lost to undefeated CDU Concepcion on the opponent's court 67-87. Temuco managed to outperform Los Leones in a home game 92-74. Winless CDU Catolica recorded a loss to Temuco on the road 95-87. Puerto Varas defeated Las Animas on its own court 74-66. Winless Osorno were beaten by CD Valdivia in a road game 84-66. Puerto Varas won against Osorno at home 75-68.
