Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Universidad de Concepcion (6-2) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by Temuco (6-1) 67-65. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The best player for the winners was American forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St.) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. point guard Sebastian Figueroa (175-88) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Steven Toyloy (203-87, college: Cincinnati) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Universidad de Concepcion's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Temuco have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Universidad de Concepcion at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. Temuco are looking forward to face Puente Alto (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Universidad de Concepcion will play against Espanol de Talca and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

It was a good game for American Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Arnold Louis contributed with 29 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. International guard Sebastian Suarez (193-91, college: Portland St.) replied with 24 points and 5 rebounds for AB Ancud. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Las Animas have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Puente Alto and AB Ancud. Las Animas will play against Osorno Basquetbol (#6) on the road in the next round. AB Ancud will play against Aleman (#4) in Puerto Varas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Leader CD Castro delivered the fifth victory on Sunday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Osorno Basquetbol (2-6) 90-81. Walter Baxley scored 21 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. The best for the losing side was Darnell Dodson with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds. Osorno Basquetbol's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. CD Castro have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-1 record. Loser Osorno Basquetbol keeps the sixth place with six games lost. CD Castro will meet Deportivo Valdivia (#5) on the road in the next round. Osorno Basquetbol will play against the league's second-placed Las Animas and hope to secure a win.

Puente Alto's next round opponent will be league's leader Temuco on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Universidad Catolica will play against Los Leones (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Los Leones outrebounded Espanol de Talca 44-30 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by Espanol de Talca helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
