There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Liga Nacional. There was no lack of interesting games this round. The round ended with defeat of the leader and favorites losing the games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Las Animas (15-5) on the court of fourth ranked Puente Alto on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Puente Alto 80-76. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Las Animas. Puente Alto forced 19 Las Animas turnovers. It was a great evening for American forward Jerome Hill (198-94, college: Gardner-Webb, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import Rakim Brown (198-91, college: Humboldt St.) helped adding 18 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Puente Alto have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with AB Ancud and CDU Concepcion. Las Animas at the other side still keep top position with five games lost. Puente Alto is looking forward to face league's leader Temuco on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Las Animas will play against Universidad Catolica and are hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in Valdivia. First ranked Temuco (15-8) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging their biggest opponent Deportivo Valdivia (14-7) 92-89 in the game for the first place. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Abiodun Adegoke (203-91, college: Midwestern St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Jovonni Shuler accounted for 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Khapri Alston (196-94, college: Midwestern St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 19 rebounds for Deportivo Valdivia in the defeat. Newly promoted Temuco maintains first place with 15-8 record. Deportivo Valdivia at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Temuco will play against Espanol de Talca (#5) at home in the next round. Deportivo Valdivia will play against CD Castro and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Sixth-ranked Universidad Catolica (1-20) gave a tough game to third ranked AB Ancud (11-10) in Santiago on Saturday. The visitors from Ancud managed to secure only two-point victory 78-76. However their fans expected easier game. Americans were the main players on the court. Gene Teague fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Gary Johnson produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds for lost side. AB Ancud have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain third place with 11-10 record having three points less than leader Temuco, which they share with CDU Concepcion and Puente Alto. Universidad Catolica lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 20 games lost. AB Ancud will meet at home Aleman (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Universidad Catolica will play against the league's leader Las Animas in Valdivia and hope to win that game.
Very important is a road loss of first ranked Temuco (15-8) against fourth ranked Aleman (12-10) on Sunday night. Visiting Temuco was defeated by Aleman in Puerto Varas 93-79. Worth to mention a great performance of Ikenna Mbamalu who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Aleman's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Aleman moved-up to third place. Newly promoted Temuco still keeps top position with eight games lost. Aleman's next round opponent will be AB Ancud (#4) on the road. Temuco will play against Espanol de Talca and hope to win that game.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Puerto Varas. 4th placed host Aleman (12-10) lost to third ranked Universidad de Concepcion (11-10) 81-74. It was a great evening for Jermont Horton who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 5 rebounds. Universidad de Concepcion maintains third place with 11-10 record having three points less than leader Temuco, which they share with AB Ancud and Puente Alto. Loser Aleman dropped to the third position with ten games lost. Universidad de Concepcion will face Espanol de Talca (#5) at home in the next round. Aleman will play against AB Ancud and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 19: Las Animas won against CDE Esp. Talca on the opponent's court 105-97. Puente Alto managed to outperform Osorno in a home game 83-73. CD Castro was rolled over Los Leones on the road 102-77. CDE Esp. Talca was defeated by Osorno on its own court 74-87. CD Castro beat CDU Catolica in a road game 93-87. Los Leones won against AB Ancud at home 108-97. CDU Concepcion was outscored by CD Valdivia on the opponent's court 82-62.

They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Espanol de Talca's players.
