AB Ancud beat Las Animas on the road to even the series at 1-1. American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-90, college: CS San Bernar.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Venezuelan power forward Francisco Centeno (203-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four AB Ancud players scored in double figures. American Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) replied with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import forward Arnold Louis (201-90, college: Savannah St., agency: HMS) added 25 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) in the effort for Las Animas.

Temuco - Puente Alto 80-67

Temuco held off Puente Alto to tie the series up at 1-1. Temuco forced 25 Puente Alto turnovers. Strangely Puente Alto outrebounded Temuco 38-25 including 24 on the defensive glass. Point guard Sebastian Figueroa (175-88) notched 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and American forward Abiodun Adegoke (203-91, college: Midwestern St.) supported him with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Five Temuco players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds by Venezuelan-Croatian forward Juan Coronado (203-90, college: Liberty) did not help to save the game for Puente Alto. Point guard Diego Valenzuela (185-94) added 18 points for the guests. Puente Alto's coach Pablo Ares rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Erik Carrasco (181-83) who scored 16 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals. American power forward Anthony Kent (208-83, college: Ball St.) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds. Dominican power forward Manuel Guzman (204-82, college: Bemidji St.) produced 29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and American point guard Scott Rodgers (191-87, college: Drexel) added 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Argentinian point guard Nicolas Ferreyra (185-85) contributed with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Four Deportivo Valdivia players scored in double figures.
