Karl Moore
31-year old power forward Karl Moore (203-PF-87) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Fast Break and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 1.
He had a double-double of 35 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Cimarrones (#4, 0-2) with 20-point margin 98-78. Fast Break maintains the 2nd position in their group in Colombian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Fast Break will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Moore had a remarkable 82.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be Fast Break's top player in his first season with the team. Culver Stockton College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Moore is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.7ppg. Moore is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 9.7rpg) and averages solid 67.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Michael Hinestroza Javes (208-F-90) of top-ranked Academia. He is naturalized Venezuelan forward in his first season at Academia. In the last game Hinestroza Javes recorded impressive double-double of 13 points and 16 rebounds. Of course he led Academia to another comfortable win outscoring Sabios (1-2) 93-68. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Hinestroza Javes is a newcomer at Academia and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Bail Wannah (93) of Sabios (#3). scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Despite 's great performance Sabios lost 88-96 to #1 ranked Academia. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The chances of Sabios not to end season at such low position in Western Conference, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, could try to bring Sabios' a little bit higher in the standings. has individually a great season in Colombia. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.3ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 9.7rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 1.3apg (best passer).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Luis Almanza (196-F-91) of Fast Break - 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Emiro Hernandez (188-PG-94) of Cimarrones - 23 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Freddy Asprilla (208-F-88) of Sabios - 15 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Raheem Tyner (201-F-93) of Sabios - 25 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Stalin Ortiz (190-G-81) of Fast Break - 18 points and 2 assists
