The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with loss of the undefeated team and favorites losing the games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Piratas (1-1) recorded a loss in Bogota on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by Warriors (2-2) 71-68. Warriors forced 23 Piratas turnovers. Strangely Piratas outrebounded Warriors 37-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Jonh Hernandez (-84) who scored 7 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Edwar Steele (186-87) chipped in 10 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Venezuelan swingman Morris Sierralta (190-87) who recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Warriors will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Piratas will play again against Warriors and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of Warriors (2-2) against Piratas (1-1) on Sunday night. Visiting Warriors were defeated by Piratas in Bogota 86-76. It was a good game for Venezuelan swingman Morris Sierralta (190-87) who led his team to a victory with 30 points. Yohanner Sifontes contributed with 23 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. American Jaelyn Johnson-Coston (198-93, college: Florida Memorial) answered with 19 points for Warriors. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Piratas will again play against Warriors in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Warriors will have a break next round.

An exciting game was played in Manizales. Fast Break faced Sabios. Guests from Bogota (3-1) defeated host Sabios (1-3) 82-68. Fast Break forced 19 Sabios turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Kenny Brown (188-91, college: Ferris St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 4 assists. The former international guard Stalin Ortiz (190-81, college: Valparaiso) helped adding 15 points and 10 rebounds. Four Fast Break players scored in double figures. Fast Break's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Ngafi Shey (-98) with 30 points and 5 steals and Bail Wannah (-93) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. Fast Break will meet at home Academia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sabios will play against Cimarrones in Quibdo-Choco and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The former international point guard Simon Granados (182-93) accounted for 15 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Lennin Lopez (-91) came up with 19 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Venezuelan point guard Emiro Hernandez (188-94) added 11 points respectively for Cimarrones in the defeat. There was no surprise in Boyaca where Patriotas (0-2) were defeated by Titanes (3-1) 87-76 on Sunday. Titanes forced 22 Patriotas turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Michael Sneed (196-82, college: Texas Southern) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Xavier Roberson (186-90, college: Our Lady Lake, agency: Haylett Sports) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Sneed is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was Sweenet Iziahiah who recorded 28 points and 8 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) and Hynton Zuchary added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Five Titanes and four Patriotas players scored in double figures. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

The best player for the winners was American guard Xavier Roberson (186-90, college: Our Lady Lake, agency: Haylett Sports) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Michael Sneed (196-82, college: Texas Southern) chipped in 16 points. Sneed is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Four Titanes players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was international swingman Alvaro Pena (191-95) who recorded 24 points and American guard Iziahiah Sweeney (193-96, college: Northwestern St.) added 16 points respectively. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
