Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most exciting game of round 4 in the LPB took place in Quibdo-Choco. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Sabios (1-5) to third ranked Cimarrones (2-4) 64-62 in the game for the third place. Cimarrones well out of reach of Sabios shooting 100.0 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Cimarrones especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 100.0 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Lennin Lopez (-91) who helped to win the game recording 23 points (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!). Venezuelan point guard Emiro Hernandez (188-94) contributed with 17 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Ngafi Shey (-98) replied with 16 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) for Sabios. Defending champion maintains third position with 2-4 record having just three points less than leader Titanes. Sabios lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with five games lost. Cimarrones are again looking forward to face Sabios (#4) in Manizales in the next round. Sabios will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Fast Break (5-1) which hosted in Bogota their biggest opponent Academia (4-2). First ranked Fast Break had an easy win 88-53. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Leonardo Salazar (178-93) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and John Velez who added 14 points during the contest. Fast Break's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Puerto Rican guard Gary Diaz (193-92) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Fast Break have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-1 record. Academia at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. They share the position with Warriors. Fast Break will again play against league's second-placed Academia in Montana in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Academia will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Warriors (4-2) which played road game in Boyaca against 3rd ranked Patriotas (0-2). Second ranked Warriors managed to get a 7-point victory 77-70. The winners were led by Jaelyn Johnson-Coston who scored that evening 28 points and 6 rebounds. Warriors' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 22 points and 5 rebounds by Sweenet Iziahiah did not help to save the game for Patriotas. Newly promoted Warriors maintains second position with 4-2 record behind leader Titanes, which they share with Academia. Patriotas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with two games lost. Warriors will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Patriotas will play again against the league's second-placed Warriors (#2) and hope to get finally their first victory.
