Jaelyn
Johnson-Coston
American Jaelyn Johnson-Coston (198-SF-93) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Warriors, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 8.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (32 points, eight rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Patriotas (#4, 2-8) 80-73. It allowed Warriors to consolidate first place in the Colombian LPB. Warriors have a solid 10-2 record. In the team's last game Johnson-Coston had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Warriors' top player in his first season with the team. Jaelyn Johnson-Coston averages this season 22.9ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was Bail Wannah (93) of Sabios. Wannah had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds. Of course Sabios cruised to a 102-93 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Cimarrones (#3, 6-6). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Western Conference. Sabios consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-8 record. is one of the most experienced players at Sabios and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.0ppg (#1). He also registered 9.8 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Zachary Hinton (201-F-94, college: Rocky Mountain) of Patriotas (#4). He got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for eleven rebounds . Despite 's great performance Patriotas lost 73-80 to #1 ranked Warriors. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Patriotas can only dream about fighting for top spots in Eastern Conference. They have rather bad season and 2-8 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. has individually a great season in Colombia. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.2ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 7.3rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 3.0apg (best passer).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Divier Perez (201-F/C-89) of Academia - 26 points and 8 rebounds
5. Simon Granados (182-PG-93) of Academia - 23 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists
6. Jairo Mendoza (203-F/C-85) of Piratas - 23 points and 9 rebounds
7. Shamar Coombs (185-G-86) of Sabios - 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Jesus Medina (188-G/F-94) of Titanes - 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
