Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Colombians who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an experienced former international power forward Juan Palacios (206-85, currently plays in France). Palacios could not help Chalon/Saor (14-9) to beat SIG Strasbourg (10-12). He recorded 5 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Chalon/Saor was defeated 92-77 on the road by the lower-ranked SIG Strasbourg (#9). It's Palacios' first season with the team. Palacios has relatively good stats this year: 13.4ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.4apg, 2FGP: 49.0%, 3FGP: 31.5% and FT: 81.0%. He has a dual citizenship: Colombian and Spanish. Former Guerreros de Bogota starter played for the Colombian senior national team two years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Andres Ibarguen (196-96, currently plays college basketball in the States). He contributed to an Texas Arlington's victory against the Texas State University at San Marcos (12-6) 81-73 in the NCAA last Saturday. Ibarguen scored 8 points in 23 minutes. The University of Texas at Arlington has a solid 12-6 conference record this season. The Regular Season already ended in the NCAA. This year Ibarguen averages: 6.3ppg, 6.7rpg, 2FGP: 60.2%(62-103) and FT: 55.7% in 25 games he played so far. He played for the Colombian national team in 2016.

   #3. The Colombian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Jhan Paul Mejia (208-94, college: Charleston, currently plays in Spain). Mejia was not able to help Quintanar in their game against Zentro Basket (9-15) in the Spanish EBA (fourth division). He scored 5 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. The seventh-placed Quintanar (12-11) was badly defeated 85-65 in Madrid by the lower-ranked Zentro Basket (#11) in the Group B. Mejia's overall stats this season are: 8.5ppg, 4.3rpg, 2FGP: 57.9%(44-76), 3FGP: 30.6% and FT: 59.3%. He is another player who holds two passports: Colombian and Spanish. Mejia is also a member of the Colombian senior national team.

   #4. Point guard Hansel Atencia (178-97, currently plays in NAIA) contributed to an easy victory against the William Jessup University (12-6) 89-74 in the NAIA in Saturday night's game. He scored 8 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 36 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. The The Master's College, CA has quite an impressive 14-4 record this season. There are only two games left until the end of the NAIA Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Atencia has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 17.3ppg, 3.2rpg, 5.4apg and 1.7spg in 25 games. Atencia has both Spanish and Colombian nationalities. He is also Colombian national team player.

The list of other players, who all have Colombian passport but never been selected to any of Colombian national teams:

   #1. Experienced Luis Julio (201-C-80, currently plays in Chile) could not help Aleman (18-14) in their last game. Despite his good performance the third-placed Aleman (18-14) was crushed 82-56 on the road by the second-ranked Deportivo Valdivia in the Conferencia Sur. Julio had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 11 rebounds in 32 minutes. Julio has relatively good stats this year: 14.3ppg, 9.7rpg and 2.4apg in 35 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Colombian and Venezuelan.

   #2. Juan Cardenas (201-F-97, currently plays college basketball in the States) was not able to help the Bryant in their game against the St. Francis University (PA) (11-7) in the NCAA, despite his very good performance on Wednesday night. Cardenas scored 17 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 38 minutes. But the Bryant lost 63-67 at home to the St. Francis University (PA). The Regular Season already ended in the NCAA. This year Cardenas averages: 7.3ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.6bpg in 29 games.

   #3. Jaime Echenique (211-F/C, currently studies in the States) led Wichita St. to a 3-point victory against the Tulane University (5-11) 82-79 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game. He scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. The Wichita State University has 10-8 conference record this season. The Regular Season already ended in the NCAA. This year Echenique averages: 8.8ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.5bpg.

   #4. Ivan Losada (SG-96, currently plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for PBB (9-11) in their game against Culleredo (14-6) in the Spanish EBA (fourth division). Despite his very good performance last Saturday Losada was the second best scorer with 13 points. Losada's overall stats this season are: 4.0ppg and 1.3rpg.

HANNER MOSQUERA-PEREA Gigantes de Guayana (LPB) signed 26-year old Colombian international forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea (206-104kg-93, college: ETSU). He moved there from Titanes in Colombian LPB league where he started the season. In three games he had 7.7ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.7bpg this season. Mosquera-Perea also played for HydroTruck Radom (EBL) in Polish league. In 8 LPB games he recorded 4.4ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.1spg. BRAIAN ANGOLA-RODAS Filou Oostende (Euromillions League) signed 25-year old Colombian international shooting guard Braian Angola-Rodas (198-88kg-94, college: FSU). He started the season at Lakeland Magic (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 40 games he had 9.4ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.4apg and 1.5spg this season.
