Crockrell's double-double lands him Interperformances Player of the Week award

30-year old guard Dermaine Crockrell (185-G-89) put on an amazing game in the last round for Fast Break and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds, while his team edged out Piratas (#3, 5-5) 82-79. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Fast Break is placed at 4th position in Colombian league. Fast Break is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-6 record. Crockrell turned to be Fast Break's top player in his first season with the team. Dermaine Crockrell averages this season 13.5ppg and 6.9rpg. Worth to mention Crockrell played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Qiydar Davis (198-G-93, agency: SDJ Sports) of top-ranked Titanes. He is American guard in his first season at Titanes. In the last game Davis recorded impressive 30 points and 5 rebounds. Of course Titanes cruised to a 95-87 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Cimarrones (#6, 4-6). Of course Titanes still keep the league's top spot. His team has currently 8-3 record. Davis is a newcomer at Titanes and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. Former Indiana State University star Davis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to center Cristian Arboleda (205-C-91) of Bucaros (#5). Arboleda scored 16 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of Bucaros, leading his team to a 86-68 easy win against the higher-ranked Academia (#2, 7-5). The chances of Bucaros ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Arboleda could help Bucaros to bring them higher in the standings. Arboleda has a great season in Colombia. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.4rpg (5th best).
