Bucaros - Fast Break 75-80 The game in Bucaramanga was also quite interesting. Second ranked Fast Break (13-9) played at the court of 5th ranked Bucaros (9-13). Fast Break managed to secure a 5-point victory 80-75 on Thursday. Fast Break looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by the former international point guard Leonardo Salazar (178-93) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points, 9 rebounds, 14 assists and 5 steals and the former international guard Stalin Ortiz (190-81, college: Valpo) supported him with 22 points. Four Fast Break players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds by Venezuelan swingman Morris Sierralta (190-87) did not help to save the game for Bucaros. Andres Deluque-Rodriguez added 19 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Fast Break maintains second position with 13-9 record having six points less than leader Titanes. Bucaros lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 13 games lost. Third ranked Piratas (12-10) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 7th ranked Cimarrones (8-16) 94-91 on Thursday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan guard Yohanner Sifontes (192-95) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and Sebastian Valencia (-97) who added 18 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Venezuelan center Miguel Bolivar (205-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Miguel Fernandez (194-92) scored 23 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Piratas maintains third position with 12-10 record having seven points less than leader Titanes. Cimarrones at the other side stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Warriors (10-13) 90-83. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Titanes. Warriors made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Michaell Jackson (196-87) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 rebounds. American Andre Armstrong (190-90, college: Coppin St.) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Armstrong is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Warriors players scored in double figures. American-Dominican swingman Luis Jacobo (196-91, college: PFW) replied with 18 points and the former international guard Gianluca Bacci (187-89) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Titanes. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Warriors have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Defending champion Titanes still keep top position with five games lost.
