There were just three rounds played in Regular Season of LPB and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most surprising game was a loss of Team Cali (1-1) in Cundinamarca on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Condores (1-2) 81-68. Condores shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. It was a good game for American power forward DeMarco Owens (203-96, college: Montevallo) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Chaz Glotta (185-95, college: Maryville, MO) contributed with 23 points for the winners. American Scott Cutley (197-85, college: CS Fullerton) answered with 22 points for Team Cali. Team Cali's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Condores is looking forward to face Piratas (#8) in Bogota in the next round. Team Cali will play against Storm (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Titanes (3-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat Trigrillos (1-2) in Barranquilla 83-73. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Juan Palacios-Tello (206-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Jonathan Rodriguez helped adding 21 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American point guard Jamaal Smith (176-85, college: N.Mexico) with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Titanes will play against Sabios (#7) in Manizales in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Trigrillos will play at home against Bucaros and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 3 winless Piratas were beaten by Storm on the road 96-87.
