   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Braian Angola-Rodas (198-94, agency: Wasserman, college: FSU, currently plays in Israel). He could not help one of league's weakest teams Ironi Nes-Ziona (8-9) in their last game. Despite Angola-Rodas' very good performance Ironi Nes-Ziona lost 89-93 on the road to the higher-ranked (#7) H.Beer Sheva. He was the top scorer with 24 points. Angola-Rodas also added 5 rebounds and 4 assists in 29 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Angola-Rodas has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 17.1ppg, 7.3rpg, 2.1apg, 2FGP: 37.3%, 3FGP: 33.7% and FT: 77.8% in 12 games he played so far. Angola-Rodas is currently a member of the Colombian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international power forward Tonny Trocha-Morelos (208-94, agency: BIG, college: Texas A&M, currently plays in Argentina). He was not able to help Boca Juniors (25-13) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Trocha-Morelos' good performance Boca Juniors was defeated 96-86 in Mercedes by the much lower-ranked Comunicaciones (#11). He scored 12 points, had 7 rebounds and made 3 blocks. The Regular Season already ended. Trocha-Morelos' overall stats this season are: 7.2ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.2bpg, 2FGP: 43.8%, 3FGP: 30.9% and FT: 70.7%. He is in the roster of the Colombian senior national team.

Andres Ibarguen

   #3. The Colombian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Andres Ibarguen (198-96, college: Angelo St., currently plays in Holland). Ibarguen was the major contributor in a Yoast United's victory against the fifth-ranked Almere (2-12) crushing them 89-53 in the Dutch DBL on Saturday night. He had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 15 rebounds in 23 minutes; not bad, considering it's only Ibarguen's third season in pro basketball. Yoast United (9-5) is placed first in Places 7-12 group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Ibarguen has relatively good stats this year: 14.6ppg, 9.4rpg, 2FGP: 72.9%(86-118) and FT: 82.5% in 14 games. He is also a member of the Colombian senior national team.

   #4. Point guard Hansel Atencia (178-97, agency: Players Group, college: Master's, currently plays in Iceland) was not able to secure a victory for Haukar (11-4) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Atencia's good performance Haukar was defeated 81-76 at home by the lower-ranked Grindavik (#5). He recorded 11 points and added 6 passes. This season Atencia has very high stats. He averages: 16.4ppg, 2.3rpg, 4.5apg and 1.3spg. Atencia has a dual citizenship: Spanish and Colombian. He is also Colombian national team player.

   #5. International power forward Jhan Paul Mejia (208-94, college: Charleston, currently plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Daimiel (2-9) 61-46 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) last Saturday. Mejia scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes. Basket Globalcaja Quintanar (10-4) is placed second in Group B-A. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. This year Mejia's overall stats are: 8.1ppg and 4.3rpg in seven games. He is another player who holds two passports: Colombian and Spanish. Mejia plays currently for the Colombian national team.
