Motilones land Nicholas Evans, ex Mad Foxes- April 29, 2021

Newly promoted Motilones de Cucuta (LPB) tabbed 33-year old American 210cm center Nicholas Evans, college: S.Indiana. He played recently at Mad Foxes in Armenian League A. In 13 games he averaged an impressive 16.8ppg, 8.4rpg, 1.7apg, 1.2spg, and 1.0bpg last season. Evans helped them to win the cup and make it to the league semifinals. He also played for Ezzahra Sports (Nationale A) in the Tunisian league. Evans is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in ten different countries playing on five different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, African, and of course North American leagues. Evans has played previously professionally in Argentina (La Union), Canada (Moncton Magic, The Storm, London Lightning, and Windsor Express), Romania (Sibiu), Saudi Arabia (Ohod), Switzerland (Lugano), Taiwan (Jutai Technology), Albania (Vllaznia), TBL (Albany P.), Ecuador (Guerreros) and Thailand (SWU). Among many awards, Evans won the NBL Canada championship title in 2019. He was voted also Latinbasket.com All-Ecuadorian National League Center of the Year back in 2018. He attended the University of Southern Indiana until 2012 and it is his tenth season in pro basketball. |
