Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

First defeat of Cafeteros (2-1) against Titanes (2-1) 78-53 was the most important game of the last round. Titanes dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Cafeteros' 16. Titanes had a 38-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for the former international point guard Hansel Atencia (178-97, college: Master's) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 4 assists. Panamanian Josimar Ayarza (205-87, college: Southern Miss) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American forward Akeem Ellis (198-90, college: Coppin St., agency: BIG) answered with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for Cafeteros. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cafeteros will play next round against Piratas trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Titanes will try to continue on its current victory against Cimarrones in Quibdo-Choco.
Storm (3-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat Piratas (0-3) in San Andres Island 83-73. It was a great evening for international Michaell Jackson (190-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals. Federico Mariani helped adding 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Yildon Mendoza (206-96, college: Angelo St.) with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Storm will play against Condores (#9) in Cundinamarca in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Piratas will play on the road against Cafeteros in Armenia and hope to get finally their first victory.
A very close game took place in Cali between Team Cali and Bucaros. Team Cali (2-1) got a very close home victory over Bucaros (0-3). Team Cali managed to escape with a 3-point win 66-63 on Thursday evening. It was an exceptional evening for Jeromy Rodriguez who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Marquis Salmon came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for Bucaros in the defeat. Team Cali will meet Sabios (#4) in the next round. Bucaros will play against Motilones (#8) and look forward to get finally their first victory.

In the last two games of round 3 Sabios beat Condores on the road 75-59. Motilones destroyed Corsarios on its own court 77-51.
The most impressive performance of 3rd round was 24 points and 6 rebounds by Yeison Yan of Motilones.



Titanes - Cafeteros 78-53

Condores - Sabios 59-75

But Condores were not able to use a home court advantage and were defeated by the opponent from Manizales 75-59 on Wednesday night. Sabios forced 26 Condores turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Lysander Ameen who led the winners and scored 37 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Dionte Montrez accounted for 7 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Dominican power forward Brayan Martinez (203-91) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and American point guard Pat Bacon (183-97, college: Tampa) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Condores in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sabios will meet at home Team Cali (#5) in the next round. Condores will play against Storm and hope to win that game.

Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. A very close game took place in Cali between Team Cali and Bucaros. Team Cali (2-1) got a very close home victory over Bucaros (0-3). Dominican forward Rich Polanco (203-97, college: S.Dakota) accounted for 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Four Team Cali players scored in double figures. American power forward Marquis Salmon (203-94, college: Texas Southern) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import Martavian Payne (188, college: Lindenwood) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Bucaros in the defeat. Team Cali will meet Sabios (#4) in the next round. Bucaros will play against Motilones (#8) and look forward to get finally their first victory.

Motilones - Corsarios 77-51

There was a minor upset when Corsarios (1-2) were smashed by Motilones (1-2) in Cucuta 77-51 on Thursday. Motilones had a 36-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Yeison Yan who led the winners and scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Miles Bowman Jr (201-93, college: High Point, agency: BIG) accounted for 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. American forward William Green (201-91, college: Stetson) came up with 11 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import point guard Ryan Roland (178, college: LeMoyne) added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Corsarios in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Motilones will meet Bucaros (#11) in the next round. Corsarios will play against Tigrillos and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
