Titanes add Hicks to their roster, ex Correcaminos

Defending champion Titanes de Barranquilla (LPB) added to their roster experienced 45-year old Panamanian forward Michael Hicks (196cm-93kg-1976, college: TAMUCC) for season 2022. Hicks played last summer at Correcaminos in Panamanian LPB league. In 25 games he was league's fifth best scorer with impressive 17.4ppg and had 4.6rpg, 4.3apg and 1.2spg. He helped them to win the league title.
In 2001 (2001 years after his graduation) he was drafted by Oklahoma Storm (USBL) in fifth round (41st overall).
Hicks graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi and it will be his 22nd (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Hicks' career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Hicks tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in Argentina (San Martin), Italy (Pesaro, Pistoia, Montecatini, Roseto and Basket Barcellona), Mexico (Halcones UV Xalapa), Paraguay (Sol de America and Olimpia), Puerto Rico (Gallitos and Manati), Uruguay (Hicksbraica and Malvin), Venezuela (Marinos and Caciques) and Panama (Rio Abajo, Toros, Halcones and Caballos).
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Titanes.
