There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Liga WPlay. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Team Cali in Bogota on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Piratas 84-71. Piratas outrebounded Team Cali 43-32 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Tristan Jarrett (193, college: Jackson St.) scored 23 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import point guard Jeremy Smith (180-1997, college: CSUSB) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Piratas' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dominican forward Jeromy Rodriguez (201-1996, college: ETSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds.
Very significant was Cimarrones' 79-71 road victory against Condores. The former international center Cristian Arboleda (205-1992) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and Akeem Ellis supported him with 14 points and 4 assists. Even 31 points and 6 rebounds by American Michael Ramey (194-1993, college: Southern Miss) did not help to save the game for Condores. Condores' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
Quite upsetting was Condores' home defeat in a game versus Cimarrones 86-74. The best player for the winners was Akeem Ellis who scored 25 points and 8 rebounds. Michael Rodriguez produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds for the hosts. Condores' coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 2: Team Cali won against Piratas on the opponent's court 82-72. Winless Bucaros lost to defending champion Titanes in a home game 54-92.
