An interesting game for Corsarios (3-3) which played road game in Bucaramanga against 4th ranked Bucaros (1-3). Third ranked Corsarios managed to get a 9-point victory 78-69. Corsarios had a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of center Jhon Hernandez (208-1984) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Logan Santiago (185, college: AIC) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Kenny Brown (188-1991, college: Ferris St., agency: SLN) replied with 25 points and 5 rebounds for Bucaros. Bucaros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Corsarios moved-up to second place, which they share with Carrib.Storm. Bucaros at the other side keep the fourth position with three games lost.
An interesting game for Team Cali (4-1) which played road game in Manizales against 4th ranked Sabios (1-4). Third ranked Team Cali had an easy win 83-58. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard John Merchant (187-1989, college: Dowling) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 6 rebounds and Jeromy Rodriguez who added 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) during the contest. Team Cali's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American guard Mitchell Kirsch (193-1998, college: Babson) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Team Cali keeps a position of league leader. Sabios lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with four games lost.
