Colombian Liga Wplay round 11 best performance: Ernesto Oglivie

Panamanian Power forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-PF-1989) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Titanes, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 32 points and 12 rebounds, while his team outclassed Corsarios (#4, 3-7) with 27-point margin 75-48. It allowed Titanes to consolidate first place in the Colombian Liga Wplay. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Titanes keeps a perfect 12-0 record. In the team's last game Oglivie had a remarkable 84.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Titanes' top player in his first season with the team. Ernesto Oglivie has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (9th best: 18.3ppg), rebounds (9th best: 7.7rpg) and averages impressive 74.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Titanes' star - young Dominican Rep. Jonathan Rodriguez (196-SG-1987). Rodriguez had a very good evening with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course together with Oglivie he helped Titanes with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Corsarios (#4, 3-7) 94-59. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group A. Titanes consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. He plays for the best team in the league and Titanes managed to win all 12 games keeping a perfect record. Rodriguez is a newcomer at Titanes, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.8ppg (#1). He also registered 8.1 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Puerto Rican forward Jorge Torres (196-PF) of Tigrillos (#5). Torres scored 21 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Torres' great performance Tigrillos lost 81-87 to slightly higher-ranked Bucaros (#3, 4-6). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Tigrillos can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group A. They have rather bad season and 2-10 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Torres has individually a great season in Colombia. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.3ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 9.1rpg (4th best).
