Team Cali made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Team Cali outrebounded Condores 54-29 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Condores' players. The best player for the winners was Dominican forward Jeromy Rodriguez (201-1996, college: ETSU) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. American guard John Merchant (187-1989, college: Dowling) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Ivan Villamoros with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds. Piratas moved-up to second place. Sabios lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 11 games lost.

Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Piratas made 7 blocks.
