Zecaree Veiga claims Colombian Liga WPlay Hoops Agents weekly honour

American Zecaree Veiga (193-G/F-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for Condores and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 24-year old swingman had the game-high 24 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for Condores in his team's victory, helping them to beat Sabios (#5, 1-15) 97-86. Condores maintains the 4th position in their group in Colombian Liga WPlay. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Condores have already lost 13 games and recorded just three victories. In the team's last game Veiga had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Condores' top player in his first season with the team. Zecaree Veiga averages this season 15.8ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American point guard Nathan Bower-Malone (178-PG-1997) of Sabios. Bower-Malone impressed basketball fans with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Sabios lost that game 86-97 to slightly higher-ranked Condores (#4, 3-13). He was another key player of Condores, helping his team with a 88-74 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Sabios (#5, 1-15). Condores can only dream about fighting for top spots in Group B. They have rather bad season and 3-13 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Knox has a very solid season. In 7 games in Colombia he scored 11.9ppg.
