Gabriela Chivata
Stephany Mayo (F-1993) had a very impressive game in the last round for Cundinamarca and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 29-year old forward had a double-double of 12 points and nineteen rebounds, while her team lost the game against Hormigas ILBS (#3, 3-2) 53-58. Cundinamarca maintains the 5th position in Colombian LSBF. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 4 games and had just one victory. It's Mayo's second year at Cundinamarca and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Mayo has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (5th best: 12.8ppg), assists (7th best: 2.5apg) and averages solid 1.8bpg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Gabriela Chivata (165-F-2002) of league's best team Indeportes. Chivata impressed basketball fans with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course she led Indeportes to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Medellin (#4, 2-3) 93-46. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Indeportes consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 5 games without any defeat. Chivata is a newcomer at Indeportes and despite she is not a team leader yet, every game she becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.
The third best performed player last round was another Indeportes' star - American Nicole Heyn (180-F-1999). Heyn scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds. She was another key player of Indeportes, helping her team with a 93-46 easy win against #4 ranked Medellin. Indeportes started extremely well this year. They recorded 5 victories without losing a single game. Heyn turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Heyn has a very solid season. In 5 games in Colombia she scored 8.2ppg.
Other top performing players last week:
4. Laura Ramirez (F-1994) of Indeportes - 15 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
