Soacha - Power 46-53 The game in Soacha was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Power (4-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Soacha (1-5). Power managed to secure a 7-point victory 53-46. Power outrebounded Soacha 37-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. The former international power forward Tania Valencia (177-1994) nailed 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Carolayn Aguirre (-1999) accounted for 10 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Laura Ayala (173-2001) came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds and Angela Ibanez added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for Soacha in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power maintains second place with 4-2 record behind leader Indeportes, which they share with Hormigas ILBS. Soacha at the other side stay at the bottom position with five games lost. They share it with Cundinamarca. Hormigas ILBS forced 20 Cundinamarca turnovers. Strangely Cundinamarca outrebounded Hormigas ILBS 58-34 including a 40-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Michelle Pardo nailed 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and guard Laura Acosta (-1999) accounted for 16 points. Forward Stephany Mayo (-1993) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Givanna Padilla (-1996) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Cundinamarca in the defeat.
