Nicholas Evans

Cimarrones del Choco (Liga WPlay) signed experienced 35-year old American forward Nick Evans (210cm-113kg-1988, college: S.Indiana) for upcoming 2023 season. Evans moved there from Medora Timberjacks (TBL) in the U.S. where he started the season. In 12 games just recently he had 11.3ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.8apg and 1.3bpg. He also spent pre-season at Cangrejeros (SPB) in Venezuelan league.
Evans is quite experienced player. He has played in sixteen different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Evans has played previously professionally in Argentina (La Union), Canada (Moncton Magic, The Storm, London Lightning and Windsor Express), Japan (Yamaguchi), Lebanon (Liders), Romania, Saudi Arabia (Ohod), Switzerland (Lugano), Taiwan (Jeoutai), Tunisia (Ezzahra), Uruguay (25 de Agosto), Albania (Vllaznia), TBL (Albany Patroons and Enid Outlaws), Ecuador (Guerreros), Thailand (SWU), Armenia (Mad Foxes) and Colombia (Motilones).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Ecuadorian National League Center of the Year back in 2018.
He graduated from University of Southern Indiana in 2012 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player. Evans played also for Southern Illinois University for 3 years.
