Bucaros land Kai James, ex Tenerife

Bucaros de Bucaramanga (LSBF) landed 27-year old American 196cm center Kai James (college: FSU). James moved there from Tenerife in Spanish LF Endesa. In 26 games she averaged 9.2ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.2apg last season. The last summer she played at Libertadores in Mexican LNBPF where in 7 games she had 11.3ppg, 7.3rpg, 2.3apg and 1.0spg. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals.
In 2017 she was drafted by New York Liberty (WNBA) in third round (34th overall).
James graduated from Florida State University and it will be her sixth season in pro basketball.
She is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in six different countries playing on four different continents. James is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. She has played previously professionally also in Belarus (BC Minsk), Israel (Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan), Jordan (Al Fuheis), Poland (Lublin) and Turkey (Samsun and Nesibe).
