Bucaros add Murphy to their roster

Eshaya Murphy

Bucaros de Bucaramanga (LSBF) added to their roster experienced 38-year old Montenegrin-American ex-international swingman Eshaya Murphy (181cm-74kg-1985, college: USC). Murphy is the second import player in the roster as USA Kai James signed here earlier.
She moved there from Spar Citylift Girona in Spanish LF Endesa. She has played there for the last five years. She helped them to win the Supercup. Murphy played 16 games in Euroleague where she recorded 6.4ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.4spg last season.
In 2007 she was drafted by Minnesota Lynx (WNBA) in second round (15th overall).
She graduated from University of Southern California and it will be her 16th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Murphy also represented Montenegro at the Qualifications to European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) 2015 nine years ago. Her stats at that event were 4 games: 16.5ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.3apg, Steals-1 (3.5spg), FGP: 54.5%, 3PT: 66.7%, FT: 75.0%.
She is quite experienced player. Thanks to Murphy's pro career she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in seven different countries. Murphy has played previously professionally also in France (Bourges), Greece, Puerto Rico (Piratas), Russia (Dynamo Kursk), Turkey (Mersin BSB, Galatasaray and Samsun) and WNBA (Indiana Fever, Phoenix Mercury, S.Antonio SS and Chicago Sky) and Spain (Avenida, Ros Casares and Mariana). She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LFB Guard of the Year back in 2009, 2011 and 2014.
It's very possible she may end her playing career at Bucaros.
