Liga WPlay 2023 - Joaquin Baeza (ex Colon SF) signs at Corsarios

Corsarios Cartagena (Liga Wplay) landed experienced 36-year old Argentinian 182cm point guard Joaquin Baeza, agency: BIG. Baeza moved there from Colon Santa Fe in Argentinian La Liga. In 35 La Liga Argentina games he averaged 14.3ppg, 3.0rpg and 7.3apg last season. The last season he played at CAO Ceres (also in La Liga Argentina) in Argentinian where in 47 games he had 8.8ppg, 1.9rpg and 4.7apg. He helped them to make it to the cup final.
Baeza has played previously professionally in Argentina (Echague, Quilmes Mar del Plata, San Martin de La Rioja, Instituto and Anzorena) and Bolivia (Universidad Autonoma Gabriel Rene Moreno and Pichincha).
He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Corsarios.
