Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Piratas (8-2) in Bogota on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by third ranked Bucaros (7-4) 63-62. It was a good game for Andre Souza who saved his team from a defeat with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Argentinian guard Alejo Montes (191-1991) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Jalen Dupree (205-1998, college: Tennessee St.) answered with 21 points and 7 rebounds for Piratas. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bucaros maintains third place with 7-4 record behind leader Carrib.Storm. Piratas at the other side still keep top position with two games lost. They share it with Titanes. Bucaros are looking forward to face league's second-placed Titanes in Barranquilla in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Piratas will play at home against Motilones and are hoping to win this game.
An interesting game for Storm (8-1) which played road game in Quibdo-Choco against 3rd placed Cimarrones (5-5). First ranked Storm had an easy win 78-62. The former international guard Romario Roque (180-1998) stepped up and scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Dominique Morrison chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Bruce Massey (190-1990, college: MTSU, agency: BIG) with 12 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Storm have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record. Cimarrones at the other side keep the third position with five games lost. Storm will play against league's second-placed Cafeteros in Armenia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Cimarrones will play on the road against Team Cali and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 9: Titanes smashed Corsarios on the road 74-50. Winless Sabios lost to Team Cali on its own court 76-92. Team Cali managed to outperform Sabios in a road game 85-77. Piratas rolled over Motilones at home 92-63. Titanes defeated Bucaros on the opponent's court 80-76.
The most impressive performance of 9th round was 20 points and 13 rebounds by Soren De Luque of Titanes.

Panamanian Josimar Ayarza (205-1987, college: Southern Miss) nailed 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Argentinian Jose Defelippo (186-1997) accounted for 15 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Carlos Morales (192) came up with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Beiker Anez added 14 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Corsarios in the defeat. Corsarios' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Titanes. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Piratas. Corsarios lost their ninth game in a row. They still close the standings with nine games lost. They share the position with Sabios. Titanes will meet Bucaros (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Corsarios will have a break next round.

Piratas dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Motilones' 24 and made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Motilones 48-31 including 35 on the defensive glass. American power forward Jalen Dupree (205-1998, college: Tennessee St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import Desmond Holloway (194-1990, college: Coastal, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 23 points and 9 rebounds.
