Liga WPlay 2023 - Jeromy Rodriguez is back at Team Cali, ex Sameji

Team Cali (Liga WPlay) signed 27-year old Dominican forward Jeromy Rodriguez (201cm-104kg-1996, college: ETSU). It is actually his comeback to Team Cali as he has played here before. Rodriguez moved there from Sameji in Santiago League in Dominican Republic, but was not approved after all. He helped them to win the Santiago League title.
Rodriguez represented Dominican Republic at the World Championships U19 in Heraklion (Greece) eight years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 11.9ppg, 7.6rpg, 2.6apg, 1.1spg, FGP: 59.1%, FT: 41.7%.
He has played previously professionally also in Spain (Zornotza) and Dominican Republic (Caneros and La Villa).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB Clausura Forward of the Year in 2022.
He graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2020 and it will be his third season as a professional player. Rodriguez played also for Northwest Florida State College for 2 years.
